Dyscovery Magnetics at PODIM 2026: From Rare Earths to Industrial Scale
Europe’s electrification depends on a fragile backbone: electric motors, permanent magnets and rare earth materials. Strengthening this backbone requires more than isolated recycling activities – it requires integrated industrial approaches capable of returning critical raw materials back into European manufacturing ecosystems.
End-of-Life electric motors are rapidly emerging as one of Europe’s most important secondary sources of critical raw materials, containing the permanent magnets and rare earth elements that support electric mobility, renewable energy systems, robotics and advanced industrial technologies.
This is the industrial space where DYSCOVERY MAGNETICS PC is now entering.
DYSCOVERY MAGNETICS is a spin-off of MONOLITHOS Recycling and Catalysts Ltd, building on extensive industrial and technological experience in advanced materials recovery, hydrometallurgy and circular processing technologies. The company represents the industrial deployment of an integrated method designed to transform end-of-life electric motors and permanent magnets into high-value magnet-grade metals and alloys suitable for reintegration into industrial value chains.
DYSCOVERY MAGNETICS develops a fully vertically integrated industrial method covering:
- electric motor dismantling
- permanent magnet recovery and preprocessing
- advanced hydrometallurgical processing
- production of high-purity, magnet-grade metals and alloys
The company’s industrial activities are already supported through collaborations and industrial engagement across the European magnet value chain, while the first end-of-life electric motors have already entered DYMA’s facilities for controlled dismantling, component separation and targeted recovery as strategic industrial feedstock.
DYMA’s participation at PODIM 2026 reflects the growing European discussion around industrial resilience, strategic raw materials and the transition from deep-tech innovation to industrial deployment.
Within the framework of PODIM 2026 and on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, Dr Anastasia-Maria Moschovi, CEO of Dyscovery Magnetics, will present DYMA’s industrial scale-up vision during the Main Stage session “From Rare Earths to Real Markets – Building a Company That Scales”, focusing on Europe’s need to develop resilient and circular rare earth ecosystems capable of supporting future manufacturing and electrification demands.
Dr Moschovi will also participate in the workshop “From Discovery to Deployment: Building Global Deep Tech Companies”, contributing to discussions around industrial scale-up, commercialization pathways and the transition from deep-tech innovation to real industrial deployment.
In parallel, DYMA will participate in the PODIM Podcast Studio hosted by Europe’s Podcast, contributing to discussions around clean-tech, industrial execution and the future of strategic raw materials in Europe.
Through its participation at PODIM 2026, Dyscovery Magnetics aims to contribute to the broader European dialogue on industrial scale-up, circular critical raw materials and the creation of resilient manufacturing ecosystems for the next generation of clean technologies.
